General Information about the Zoning Office:
Handle planning, zoning, and building for unincorporated Grundy County (Outside any incorporated city boundary).
Interpretation of Grundy County Zoning ordinance and Grundy County comprehensive land use plan.
Interpretation of Grundy County Zoning ordinance and Grundy County comprehensive land use plan.
- Issue building permits and zoning permits
- Perform zoning inspections by enforcing our zoning ordinance.
- Handle requests for rezoning variances, conditional use permits, temporary use permits, and special user permits.
- Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustment and Board of Supervisors are decision makers for aforementioned requests. I am secretary and schedule meetings, public hearings, etc.
- Handle all major and minor subdivision requests.
- Handle requests for home industry or home occupations.
